Data Scientist

What we're looking for:

1. Exceptional Communication Skills: Proficiency in English is crucial as you'll interact with customers regularly, delving into complex technical discussions. Prior consulting experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous, fostering confidence in addressing customer inquiries effectively.
2. Experience with Heterogeneous Data: Ability to navigate through diverse datasets is essential, akin to exploring a box of chocolates with surprises at every turn.
3. Knowledge of Basic NLP Techniques: Expertise in fundamental Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques like regex, typo handling, and normalization is invaluable. While our current NLP toolbox suffices, we anticipate enhancements in the future, requiring your proactive approach to refining it.
4. Applied Python Skills: Proficiency in Python is essential as our internal parsing toolbox relies heavily on it. We're not just looking for users but innovators who strive to enhance existing tools.
5. SQL Proficiency: Mastery in SQL is paramount as the majority of our data analytics is SQL-centric. Familiarity with the analytics engineering ecosystem and a genuine interest in its advancements are desirable traits.
6. Basic Software Engineering Skills: Competence in writing clean code, conducting unit tests, and utilizing version control is integral. The quality of your code directly impacts our customers' experience, emphasizing the importance of maintainability and debugging capabilities.
