About the Role: Staff Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from brainstorming ideas to evaluating product success using data and customer feedback.
• Architecting and implementing cutting-edge features as part of our product engineering teams.
• Working with next-generation event-based distributed backends and graph database systems.
• Crafting high-performance, data-rich, and highly secure services to ensure safe and compliant transactions of billions of dollars in crypto every month.
• Maintaining the highest level of data security for our users.
• Advocating for high-quality engineering best practices across the team.

What You Bring

• 9+ years of experience building high-performance, highly-available, resilient APIs.
• Practical experience with event-based backends, functional programming, linked data, graph databases, and blockchain technologies.
• Extensive experience and understanding of JavaScript development, including Node.JS / TypeScript / Deno.
• Solid working experience with frontend development, including React.JS and NextJS.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Practical experience working in a fully-remote team with members located across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab CI, Terraform, AWS, Docker, or similar is a bonus.
• Curiosity and passion for constantly learning new things.
• Ownership and Accountability: Ability to effectively manage your own time and resources in a flexible working culture.
